That is probably loudest...

Next is NISMO with RT-Cats or Test Pipes...

But, The NISMO sounds pretty much the same with RT Cats or TP's

I have the Nismo exhuast with Helix test pipe and it got quite a bit louder, sounds like a bunch of angry hornets in a can.

I think if you add test pipes to any of them they will get really loud and raspy.

You are right though the Injen with the test pipes is extreme, I could still here it a block away, just wasn't fond of the raspy tone it has, at first I didn't realize it was a Z and it was at a Z meet I started to look around to see what it was.

Ehhhh...

Injen / JIC single / etc - Similar

Apex N1 / HKS / ApexWS / - Next

Stock without Resonator / NISMO / Borla / Stillen

Then Stock.

I guarantee without ANY DOUBT IN MY MIND that if you could hear my Topspeed Pro1 without the silencers in, you would run away screaming like a little girl ! Seriously, i have test pipes and this system is so loud that EVERY interior panel vibrates uncontrollably under wide open throttle

I will say it also. The Pro-1 is hands down THE loudest out there aside from straight pipes. (RS*R of same design should be same sound level) The Pro-1 is LOUD, DEEP, and INSANE.

Seems like not many people have Amuse R1 due to its lunatic price, but IMO, Amuse was always quite notorious for having such a loud tone of exhaust. My friend back in Korea runs Amuse R1 with high flow cats and headers in his JDM Altezza (Lexus IS), and he took it off after 2 days of agony because it was just wayyyy to loud.... He is a car nut and does not care at all about loud sound....but it was just too much for him he said..
So I wonder how it'll sound like on a Z with Amuse R1 and any other aftermarket Y-pipe with high flow cats and headers?
Damn! It'll be loud!

Amuse sounds like poetry quite frankly..close your eyes, you'll swear its a 360 Modena....

Loudest I ahve heard far and away was Tanabe....sounded like poop honestly.

thanks for all the replies! im sure this will help him choose an exhaust setup. after a talk with jeff@performance nissan today, i FINALY fixed that mild rasp coming from my injen! i installed the shims/washers he has been using, and it totaly cleaned it up! i had adjusted my ses countless time with no luck! im very excited about this! it was very minor, but always bothered me. i was just about to get my 3rd cat back (custom hks) untill i talked to him and fixed it! thanks again jeff. anyone else with this injen rasp should DEFINATLY try this mod. 8 washers @ $.12ea = $1.00! by far the cheapest mod i have EVER done!

I have the R*SR with the silencers still in and i think its pretty loud (i also think i have a slight hearing loss haha). I'm going to try and take the silencers out tomorrow. But i've heard the R*SR and N1 to be the loudest.
