Anyone have any fixes for a low hanging exhaust?
I have Fast Intentions' cat back and the mid resonator secoin was hanging too low that it would bounce off the rear tunnel stay (W brace) with about half an inch spacing with washers. Took the washers off so that the two are semi pressing together. There is no more bounching but there is a lot more reverberations through the cabin.
I'm looking for two resolutions to the problem. Either a way to secure the midpipe/resonator to the chassis higher or something to put between the brace and the resonator. I was thinking either a cut off from a tire (but that might smoke and burn) or the better option, exhaust thermal wrapping around both parts.
Thoughts?

my exhaust would hit my subframe when i did a right turn, so i went and bought universal mount from autozone, it is a clamp, and then heavy rubber, and then backstrap. i found a place on the passenger side to attach it to and havent had any hitting since..... might work for you... .dunno
