this seems to be a normal stock 350z dyno before and after uprev tuning

This is the nwp TB

The NWP doesnt exhibit the flat 5500 to 6200 trq curve, and really takes a dump after 6000 rpms. Not typical of a properly running VQ35

Granted the dyno is just for showing before and after changes, a 3rd party dyno will be great!

I just noticed that the NWP throttle body lost peak hp and torque...yes I realize that it matters that it had big gains up top (allegedly), but I don't like that dyno at all.

When you guys do the dyno, please don't go there with the TB already installed then post up the results with a before from whenever. Make sure to do the install on the dyno so that nothing but the TB changes between your runs. If you can, it'd also be great if you can do like 3 runs before, 3 runs after, and 3 runs with the stock TB again. That way, you can also attempt to control for the ECU possibly compensating for the WOT pulls you're doing. Since this is supposed to be a bolt-on affair, there shouldn't be any tuning either. Please?

I'm really excited for this. The more scientific analysis of this we can get, the better. Looking forward to the results!!!

I just installed one of these kits. Super nice with perfect fitment. Car drives like stock just with more power.

Interested in seeing this on a Rev equipped car. I assume this is 75mm In / 75mm outlet with the spacer being tapered to match the stock plenum diameter. Any experimentation of porting the plenum to match and throwing out the spacer? What is the diameter of the OE tb?

70mm , and I am porting my spacer and V+ intake right now. I'm also doing some work to the TB, it needs countersunk screws and some grinding to the shaft.

I talked to a guy at NWP who told me to keep a taper in the adapter plate/spacer to improve air velocity. Also, the throttle body cannot be used without the spacer due to the mounting style.

I've asked for a dyno plot of a Rev-up engine as well, hopefully they did testing.

I completely agree^ I've been lurking around these different threads hoping to see some positive results...but that dyno chart from NWP is garbage. It still faceplants really hard...and loses peak hp and tq? Yeah, no thanks.

Grassroots Motorsports did a piece on this upgrade in its August 2015 magazine. They did back to back dyno testing of this upgrade and found that there is a 5 hp increase between 4800 and 5500 rpm. Since that is the sweet spot if you track your car then maybe $350 for 5hp is worth it.
