Single exhaust vs dual exhaust
So Im looking at the Singles and the duals and so far the single looks like it would save more weight but the only thing is I dont want my Z to sound ricey.... if you catch my drift. Like one of those hondas with the fart canssss
I used to hate single exhaust on this car but I was looking at kingbaby's thread the other day and realized it looks pretty sweet.
I used to have a 2010 camaro ss, chopped off my mufflers, straight pipe to tips and replace resonators with an x pipe and that was enough for me.
With the 350z I'm not so sure what to do. There's options on options and options on those.
I'm already working on a doctorate, I guess I'll get my master's in Z33 exhaust setups. See you then.

IMO dual exhausts have a deeper tone/rumble. It also allows for two different sounds being produced, since there are 2 different pipes emitting noise. Singles have a crisp sound, a more unified note.
In this vid, the car on the left has a dual exhaust setup, N1 canisters. With a magnaflow unresonated x-pipe, 2.5" piping. The one on the right, has full AAM 3". Both essentially have the same setup, except the AAM has a resonator and is 3". The tone differences are very noticeable. I happen to love the sound of both cars. Just a good comparison video..(KingBaby right, nismofreak1208 left)
BTW, gorgeous cars gentlemen
