I can speak from personal experience that Tony 100% stands behind his products. I had DE V1 ART PIPES, I kept breaking them, I thought I was bottoming on them and since my Z was lowered raised it, they kept breaking. I read a thread that said the V1s had a problem and contacted Tony, he replaced them with V2s no questions asked.

+1. Tony offered many troubleshooting hints when I had idling problems after installing my MD plenum spacer...

Kudos to Hydrazine.

I forgot to mention, when my friend's ART Pipes broke, Motordyne replaced it automatically, no questions asked. If they can provide that level of support to their customers across the globe, I thought it was kind of weird why he would not do the same for the OP.

Anyways, good luck to both lol

Is this thread a joke? You're complaining about little divits inside the Y-pipe??

Motordyne / Tony is a very honest company and always consistent with their high reputation. Last year I purchased an unused 2.5 inlet/outlet muffler from a my350z member. Tony allowed me to exchange the unused muffler for the bigger 3" inlet muffler. (I also purchased their 3" primary pipes as well.)

Most companies wouldn't even allow this.

Along with this, the quality was exceptional. I remember bringing it into my living room as an ornament for a month. lol Their 3" turbo exhaust has allowed my setup to hit 503whp on less than 10psi boost with a tune. The numbers speak for themselves.

Sorry, Tony did offer me an exchange but it was 2 DAYS after we talked on the phone and the emails (look at the timestamp of his offer and my last reply via emails). I just thought the silence was an answer "NO". I greatly appreciate the gestures that you provided in the exchange but I have already made up my mind the the 2 days that took for a response back to get something new. I'm sorry if you think I'm a liar, which is VERY rude of an accusation Tony but if you look at the Timestamps of our conversation and this thread timestamp you can see that it took a while for your reply. Hence I assumed the answer was a NO. I understand you might be a busy person but it just seemed weird to me that you answer my emails in a day less than an 30 minutes apart and then when I asked about a new Y pipe it took 2 days for an answer.

I still think your customer service is great when you offered this because I think it's what is great about your product even if it's IMO not good quality. I am hurt that you accused me of lying without thoroughly reading the thread and understanding the time difference. But as of me I do apologize to Tony at Motordyne for making assumptions on his answer, I still stand by on the quality of the pipes is not as good as I thought but that is just my opinion.

again I assumed and I apologized for that. Cause I mentioned wanting to get new Y pipe on the telephone. I thought I would get a faster reply after my second email. Because your reply email didn't mention anything about that situation I assumed you didn't want to exchange the XYZ pipe. Again my apologies.

I understand if hes a busy guy, but the emails were RIGHT after the phone call. In the phone call I already addressed I wanted a NEW Y pipe. Now his reply email was within 30 minutes. Now you tell me if a customer was unsatisfied with a product and already stated what he wants to do are you going to reply with a nonchalant no it looks fine and will work fine and leave the customer hanging around for 2 days? But again I apologize to Tony like twice already for assuming, and I'll apologize again. Sorry Tony for making an *** out of myself.

But like I said the piece that I got was **** tier IMO. If I asked girls who looks at gunky dark *** oil and says it looks fine, my mom who don't even drive, my nerdy *** friends who plays games all day, to my riding buddies and my car guys friend to look at the pictures I have posted and the exhaust piece in person and tell me what they see and all the answers came out as "why does it look like that, Is it suppose to look like that, why does it looks uneven, whats wrong with the middle etc," I don't care what anyone says on the forum that's BAD quality. They all look at it and feel like it doesn't belong.

I am very happy you are happy with your TDX honestly, but I am not satisfied with the quality and the premium I paid. It's like buying rota wheels with volks pricing. Well at least you get a new pipe when **** happens yeah but that is still a HASSLE to deal with. The only other exhaust that I read about cracking all the time besides motordyne product is the ebay HKS X02 exhaust .

Hopefully this thread will help others in their purchase, I'm not here to argue but to bring out an opinion. Like I said I've already decided on what to do with these pipes and it's not putting it on the car.

PEACE

Your false assumption was false. I was on the road (route 66) when you called and couldn't get back to you until I stoped at the next hotel with a wifi connection.

But to come on here and LIE about our phone conversation, putting words in my mouth that I never said, is a different subject. Your lie was in addition to your false assumption.

Apologizing for your assumption is not apologizing for your slander. It is also a lie to blame your false assumption excuse for lying.

Think we can all agree OP is a douche. Email ANY company for a concern .... I almost guarantee it will take them a couple days to even acknowledge your email

I've been very satisfied with my motordyne products. My XYZ w/resonator makes my tomei single with momentum headers and test pipes at least tame during cruising inside the cab. Only issue I've ever had was a strange power result when I ran ART pipes with my headers...test pipes ended up being the answer instead.

Either way, I'm happy with the quality and customer service.
