Ordered a set of ART pipes from z1 but was told they were on backorder for 2-4 weeks? Called Motordyne directly and they said at least two weeks. Does anyone on here know of an online parts store that currently has them in stock and ready to ship?

I don't want to wait that long dang it!

 

do you have a de or hr? when i got mine they drop shipped straight from MD

 

I have the DE... But MD says they are currently in production and won't be ready to ship for at least 2 weeks. I'm wondering if there are any other parts stores out there that have them on the shelf. Z1 didn't have any more on hand and gave me an estimated shipping date of 4 weeks... fml.

 

just wait if you end up getting the TDX2, that is a six week wait

 

Post in the vendor wanted area and see if any respond but make sure they are not drop shipping from MD.

Need some amazon prime on that!

 

They just moved shops... I presume they let the previous stock run out so they didn't have to move as much. In any case, gotta give them enough time to get fabrication back up and running and you're pretty much going to have to wait.

Try being patient, 2-4 weeks is nothing.

Wait until you buy some authentic JDM parts and you'll experience what real lead times are.

 

Called MD again as a last ditch effort and the kind lady on the phone gave me the name of 2 shops that may have had them in stock. Called the first one, B2 Auto Designs in Florida, and they had 2 on the shelf! It will ship out today...

Whew... now I can stop pouting

I went with HKS HP, but all this talk about the TDX2 has my wheels spinning. Just out of curiosity why did you go with the TDX2?

Also, What's your opinion on the HKS Hi Power? Just picking your brain

check B2. I highly recommend them. Actually I got my ART pipes from them. They answered alot of my questions, competitively priced, shipped them quickly and packaged beautifully.

btw im all stock except art pipes and intake. art pipes are candy for your ears.

 

Well, from all the gain comparisons I've been able to find, they seem to always pair the TDX2 w/art pipes and the HKS HP w/berk. That seems like comparing apples to oranges. I'd like to see how they stand up against each other with both having art pipes on board.
