that z is on bags.... when low like that it is undriveable........why buy a sports car when you can't drive it like one???

the lowest i would do is 1.2 inches (springs or coils your choice) i drag on speed bumps being 1 inch, any incline you will most likely drag on, and from the pm you sent me funds are limited. figure front and rear camber kits, shock and springs or coils... and you are looking at least 1500 if not more

And people wonder why 350Z's are becoming the laughing stock of the car world just like Honda's.......

Sounds like butthole. Put about 4-5 resonators on it and it might sound alright.

Stance and drifter are 2 different looks. 1 is retarded, the other is set up properly.

Have fun ruining your car, killing the resale value and further degrading peoples opinions on Z owners.

FWIW, I'm 24 so don't play the age card.

Ok thats cool I respect your opinion. In the video I posted both of those cars are what I would call a stance drifter. Both those cars are super low but regularly drift in competitions. And to travlee I know that car is bagged thats why I said about an inch higher than it. And I am not going to bag mine. How am I ruining my car? If I like it than its not ruining it. What about the Fujitsubo RM01A, why is it only $450 dollars but it is a very high end company. And honestly how many people hate Z owners that you know? I was just recently told my car is sexy by some random girl. And if I was worried about resale value I wouldn't have gotten a 10 year old car. They already are super cheap for what they are. I'm in this car for the long run. And to travlee again Its not that I can't afford a nicer exhaust. I think the 5zigen is of the same quality as tomei, apexi, tanabe, or Jic just you guys dont like the way it sounds. Its just the exhaust is so small and it doesn't have burnt titanium is why its only $650. I can afford the tomei etc. I just couldn't get anything else for now.

Weird.

I search "drift 350Z" and I get these pics.

I search "Stance 350Z" and I get these.

In the drift cars I see higher ride height, proper alignments, tires that fit the rims and usable cars.

In the stance cars I see cars lowered to the point they can't drive on public streets, ridiculous amounts of negative camber and tires that are 5 sizes too narrow to fit the wheels.

Two completely different setups. Two completely different terms. Two completely different vehicles.

Spend a week or two doing nothing but reading and researching or sell your Z and buy a Civic. It is what you were destined to own but you just got confused in your search for a car.

Is your best friend named Dougan by chance?

What the hell is your problem. The only hondas I like are S2000's and NSX's. Did you even watch that video? Here are some examples of what I'm wanting to do

Plenty of 180, 200, 240, silvia examples and many others

I wanted to buy coilovers and camber arms(with my money). And my dad said no since he thinks if you need camber arms to lower the car then the coilovers are doing something wrong to the car

Alright.... Putting this stance vs drift thing aside (alot of stance cars drift, look at Royal T) If you really want an exhaust that won't drag, you will need to get one made that sucks up to the frame. IF you are super serious, you will find a guy who will do oval pipe. I had a very loud exhaust on my 350Z and I was planning on making a custom exhaust to make it quieter before I sold it.

Hmm turning a car bought by parents into a "stanced drift missile"

Kid I was trying to help before, but you have a lot of growing up to do. You need to learn some responsibility. I am sure your parents worked hard to buy you this car, and you are going to disrespect them by doing this to the car. Leave it stock, maybe some light mods such as just the exhaust, then eventually buy a car yourself and do whatever you want to that.

I won't be buying my kids a car no matter how well off we are. They will buy their own car, buy their own gas and pay to fix whatever goes wrong with their car.

Awaits attitude when they want/need to be driven all over hell & back at all hours of the night.

FWIW, we lived in the canyons of L.A. no buses, miles from public transportation, only reason my Parents subsidized our cars.

'round here if you can't buy your own car you walk. Or you call a taxi service out of the city and wait an hour for them to get to you.

When you get tired of walking/riding your bicycle you get a job and buy a car.

I realize I don't have enough money right now to stance it. And guess what you mother ****ers my parents dont allow me to get a job even though I have asked. The do that so I don't fall behind in school, as I am a straight A student. I don't have a problem with anyone else in this thread except for 92k. I am planning ahead on what I want for my car. I don't understand everyone's obsession over hating kids who's parents can afford them nice cars. I pay for insurance on my car as well. Which is where most of my money is going since its $300 dollars a month just to insure it for a 16 year old. The money I do have is just saved over the years of mowing lawns, yard work, etc.
