Kinetix Velocity intake manifold
I don't think the runners are that much longer than the de plenum, a bigger inlet would be nice but space is a big issue. I don't think the plenum is too small for a stockish engine but might be a issue with a highly modified one, all that would not matter if the engine isn't properly set up. You need to start with figuring out what you want the engine to do and build around that, broad power band would be better than peak power imho. That band will change with simply changing the I,h,e setup so if you have aggressive cams with I,h,e setup for broad power you will not be getting any major gains. IIRC Sash said most could get by with mild cams.

I would like to see the graph. These cars can plus or minus 2-10hp run to run depending on temperature and heat soak etc. Its going to be pretty tough to sell me on that manifold.
I think the reality of that manifold is that people buy it because they want anything at all other than the ugly stock manifold, and those who think this one looks better (looks like ebay china parts to me personally) are going to stretch as far as possible to justify purchasing it.
What we have here is a simple fabricated piece that any welder could make at home with some universal tubes if they just had the throttle and plenum flanges to work with. Consider that Nissan invested god knows how many 10's of thousands into engineering and manufacturing the far more complex stock DE plenum. So when we have a supposed report that this entry level sheet metal canister is outperforming the engineered Nissan component at every engine speed from idle to redline.... it should be clear where my skepticism is based. How likely is it that this whipped up and polished can is better than Nissan engineering at every single engine speed? Very, very, extremely unlikely... not even considering that it doesnt boast any of the traits of a high performance intake manifold.
