Default Header Wrapping

I just got my OBX Longtubes and want to wrap them but have no idea how much to buy, I'm thinking 2-3 rolls of 2"x50' wrap.

So my question is for those that have wrapped headers how much did it take you?

Its gonna depend on (obviously) on the headers but I think you'll be fine with 50 feet per header. There is a 'calculator' on DEI's website you should check out -

https://www.designengineering.com/ni...wrap_calc.html

I would go with 1" width if you can for tighter radius runs and the 2" width for straight runs. So two rolls of 1" and a roll of 2" would be good.

I would also ditch the metal zip ties and buy a roll of rebar tie-wire to secure the wrap. It's $10-$15 at lowes/home depot. I'll post a picture of what I did.

After using the dei website it shows that I should need about 47ft of wrap to do both headers.

I'm going to buy 100' just to be safe. A friend said it took about 75' to wrap his civic header.

Took probably 45' or so to do one header, have to wait for rest wrap to get here so I can do the other.
