So I picked up a motordyne copper iso thermal kit new from a guy near me. He had all of the directions and all of the motordyne labeled bags so everything was legit but the spacer is bugging me. In all of the pictures I have seen, the spacers are bare aluminum, but the one I got from him is all black and it looks to be put together in two pieces with puzzle like connections. Did motordyne make these spacers in black? Thanks for your help!

No, never seen black, probably rattle canned it, they do come as a connected 2 piece.

It maybe had the gasket already installed on it. That is how mine came.

Called motordyne today and they said that they made a black anodized aluminum spacer but its pretty rare. I guess I got lucky!
