Default HKS Broken Baffle - 04 G Coupe

Alright so I finally got around to having a stock pile of parts installed on my G last week and am having some issues

Car: 04 G35 Coupe
Mods:
-Motordyne spacer kit
-Stillen Intake
-Stillen Headers
-Motordyne Art Pipes
-HKS catback
-Magnaflow x crossflow section

The problem is my exhaust sounds like crap. It has a high pitched rasp or metal on metal noise in pretty much the entire powerband 95% of the time. When the car is warmed up it gets even worse. When revving the car at idle it sounds pretty clean however those same rpm's under load sound terrible.

While coasting giving maybe 5% throttle I can hear metal bouncing around from the rear of the car. Sounds like metal bolts in a metal can being shook. I believe one of the mufflers has a broken baffle which is causing the metal on metal and rasp noise.

I bought the hks system used for around $700 which is the going rate for a used system however its been 6+ months since I made the purchase and just had it installed last week. From what I can tell HKS does not offer replacement mufflers for this style exhaust & every exhaust shop I have called says it has to be replaced.

Are these mufflers screwed or is there a shop that can/has cut these open & repaired or removed the baffles? I know removing the baffle would make it drone more and add rasp but I could also add a resonated X flow to compensate. I just really don't want to have to scrape this exhaust system after spending $1,000 on it a week after its installed but the car sounds like a civic powered by autozone at the moment.

I had the shop that installed the exhaust check the system twice now and they said it is what it is and its hard to get these engines to sound good. That's not the response I wanted to hear when you have 3k+ worth of exhaust mods on your car. I went home and spent some time on it myself and have narrowed it down to the muffler on either side as you can hear a distinct metal on metal sound at certain rpm's under low load. I haven't pulled the muffler yet to determine which side at the moment. There is nothing rubbing or anything of that nature, its most definitely coming from inside the exhaust system towards the very rear of the car.

Any info or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Honestly have the mufflers removed and add some mufflers of your choice. I know greddy apexi and maybe hks sell mufflers independent of a system. Thats the route i would take. For the price youll pay for labor and to have the other side go eventually id get a couple of these and be done.
