anyone ever try this thing out? seems to be pretty new can't find anyone who has posted a thread about it. wondering if I should do that or go with a magnaflow resonator, welded in later in the exhaust.

well looks like i might order it in a week or so, looks to be able to change out with the motordyne pieces as well? giving the option to go with a hfc module if its too loud. got my buddy to pick up a single whilst he was off on work and is bringing it back this weekend.

Does anyone have a resonator downstream with HFC's? How does it do with rasp reduction? I may be switching out my ART pipes to HFC's but I am dreading the rasp and currently have a resonated xyz pipe. It's impossible to find good clips with a low rasp set up.

All depends on what exhaust your using if you wish to eliminate rasp. Art pipe rasp less than hfc. Ive had both.

Right, I've had Berk HFC's before but I didn't have the resonated xyz pipe until I added the Art Pipes. If I go back, I want a clean set up. I have the Tanabe medallion.

Because state inspection sucks. Massachusetts is probably the toughest of the 50 states. De modding to pass every year is tiring. HFC is more likely to pass vs. the Arts which do not.

Interesting.

My ART pipes with Nismo s tune exhaust had the infamous 3k rpm rasp with drone on the highway. AAM y pipe killed some drone but also low end sucked.

Switched to kinetix HFCs with custom HR style y pipe and Nismo s tune exhaust and it tamed everything down to my liking. Still mild rasp around 3k. Even with my old Nismo y pipe. No drone on the highway either.
