Just for you HRmoneypit, a resonator!

The first production exhaust is in route!

Tacked together and checked for perfect fitment

Keep an eye out in the classifieds for this one. The moderators have allowed me to fabricate and sell 1 and only 1 exhaust for the time being. Because this is technically a one off custom part, it will be priced as such. If it wasn't for everyones positive comments and interest, I wouldn't be taking this as seriously as I am right now. I already have an inquiry out to become a vendor here. Let's hope the fee isn't a deal breaker for me! Cheers everyone

No I didn't take any offense! I'm well aware of Tomei's quality. That's my favorite exhaust of all time for this car lol being titanium, I expect it to be super light. I was suprised that mine is only 6 lbs heavier!

Well I haven't had the chance to do a sound test just yet. I'm currently waiting for the local gas company to approve me for renting a bottle for argon. Once that happens, I'll get my stuff all setup to finish welding in my garage. Then, my buddy is going to take some pictures and video clips for some fancy advertisement. Playing the waiting game sucks lol

... Just might be crazy enough to work haha

Update: haven't figured out the gas situation completely yet but I was able to weld the mid-pipe with the remaining gas from the shop. Quite an improvement from the original

dboyzalter, haha can you teach me to internet

The v-band welds came out decent. I still have a long way to go for doing all the butt joints in the piping though. When mating two pieces of pipe together, it's hard to get them perfectly concentric. Often, the mandrel bent sections are slightly oval'd so there's never a perfect fit

This time around, I clamped another v-band to the flange being welded to prevent warping. I test fit the new exhaust and the flanges went together much better than on the first design. I need to make more so I can keep progessing

No.3 has just been completed. This one is already intended for someone and is not for sale. Just taking a little pride in my work and showing it off is all. The weld quality is getting closer to where I want it to be. Still minor imperfections everywhere but also MUCH better than when I first started welding. Cheers everyone!
