Default Anyone Here w/ Test Pipes / How Does ART Pipes Get Rid of Drones?

Hi Everyone,

I've long sold my 350z and hopped into another car, which has insane drones around 1.5K-2K, then again at 3K-3.5K.

When I had the Z, I had the ART pipes, which used Helmholtz resonators to get rid of the drone. It looks like ART pipes is basically a test pipe with Helmholtz resonator.

When I had ART pipes, there was literally 0 drone at all rpms. I know the length of the Helmholtz resonator was precisely calculated to get rid of drones that would be audible at certain rpms. But how was it able to get rid of drone at all rpm range? From my understanding, a specific length of the Helmholtz resonator only gets rid of drone in a certain rpm range. You can't get rid of drones in multiple rpm ranges.

Question for those with test pipes
What rpm ranges do you experience drone?

Thanks so much for the help guys

The question is subjective and dependant upon the exhaust system.
Even quality systems drone and rasp badly with test pipes and each drone at different rpms and multiple spots. Best bet go with art pipes again
