Default What else before Stage 1 tune?

So I'm about to do my first round of upgrades and then get a dyno tune on my 05 35th Anniversary (RevUp). Right now I have the 5/16 spacer and MREV2 on the way. I'm still shopping but it looks like I'm going with an Injen SES cbe and FI Resonated HFCs. Still debating on K&N, AEM, or Amsoil drop in filter.

After I get all of the above sorted out, is there anything else I should be looking at before getting the car tuned? I don't plan on going turbo for awhile, the car is a daily driver with an 80 mile round trip. I know nothing is going to give me 20 HP/TQ or anything, but little stuff does add up.

I thought about headers, but it looks like you lose as much TQ as you gain HP, or I might have to replace aftermarket ones again if I do ever turbo it. So from what I understand, I'm best not fooling with it right now.

Since I have a RevUp air box, is there any aftermarket box that will benefit me, even after I have the car tuned? If not, was there ever any closure in the best panel filter debate or something new out there? Stock or aftermarket, engine longevity is a primary concern here. Only have 66k on it now, but will be putting 20+k per year on it.

So is there anything that would just be stupid not to go ahead and do before I get the car tuned? I don't want to "upgrade" just for the sake of saying "I upgraded that", but if I can squeeze out a lil more power and/or gas mileage without breaking the bank...

Mise well delete cats and get a full exhaust but you're looking at 2-2.5k when all said and done for 20'ish whp???

Why not save up to 3-3.5k and buy a second hand turbo or supercharger and make 100+whp?

I am considering ART pipes instead of the FI RHFC but I'm hesitant because of sound

. I figured I would need most of this stuff anyway to do a proper turbo setup down the road, and i don't know that I want or am ready for 100+hp extra right now.

One thing I thought of after posting is I should probably go ahead and change plugs after figuring out which is best for me.

With a turbo setup you will use a different intake, will want the best/most efficient exhaust. The good HFC will sound more tame than any test pipe.

As long as your not driving ***** to the wall every day +100 who is fine and very manageable.

Yeah I figured I'd wait to upgrade the intake until then. For now probably just getting an AEM Dry Flow filter.

It was supposed to be "+100whp" stupid phone.

While out of boost a stock car and a 450whp car will feel the same.
