is that what's causing the the rattling sound? At certain times i keep hearing something like 2 metal pieces rapidly hitting or tapping each other.

 

Yes... it should do it REAL bad when it's cold.

I removed the cover and this solved the problem.

I have just made a habit to check under there to make sure it's clear of debris, etc... Sometime I might do a custom cover.
