Default a fully carbon fiber intake

Hi guys, My name is James and i'm new to the 350z community as I have just recently picked up an 07 HR limited edition. I love it.

I know it would be pricey but is there such a thing as a entirely carbon fiber dual HR intake? I know it would be a doozy with the MAF sensor but I can't seem to find anything online.

Welcome- even in full racing guise, there's been no production C-F intake and MAF tube made. Why? Too expensive and not enough demand. Besides, fiberglass or composites offer almost the same weight savings and heat reducing properties that C-F does.

Maybe take your OEM parts off and bring them to a hydrodipping shop? For street-use, you're not going to get much better performance than the OEM intakes Nissan designed - really. Here's what the parts can look like, although they're in my car's interior, and there are plenty of good YouTube vids to see also - search.

Then find a local shop to have the work done, and inspect their work first, Cost is very reasonable, and IMO, it can look pretty good. There are countless patterns available, but my CF is from http://www.shawnaughtydesignz.com/. He'll sell the film to any dealer you directly.
