There's also the "Z's are cheap now so they're the new Civic" school of thought that seems to contribute to your "overall mentality in this forum" comment. To that I say, "Keep doing what yer doing by answering questions and maybe some of the sage wisdom and RESPECT for the 'now old Z cars' will rub off." Heh heh....

I know sometimes it's hard to do but I like to keep the mantra of the Z Car Garage in mind.... "Long live the Z!"

All of 'em.

I'm partial to 18yo Glenlivet.

Oh, wait, you mean dat laffer gas stuffis. Problem with that is that like Glenlivet, you gotta keep re-filling the bottle! Laff!
I love the Z cars, I would like to own a 240, 300, 350 if I had the means to lol. That's why I get a bit triggered when people talk bad about them or treat them like "civics" and expect to spend $200 on I/E mods. Take it slow and get to know the car then gradually upgrade it, I have had my car for almost 6 years and I'm nowhere near done, that being said there is nothing "cheap" I can do anymore.

I can do most basic stuff. I've done exhausts, brakes, oil, intakes etc. And like I said, it's a 44k mile 1 owner car, I don't want to do a ton of aftermarket stuff to it. Just basic stuff that I can return to stock if I ever need to. I figured if I did a good intake, longtube headers and a nice exhaust it might help it breath a little and pick up some power while also getting some nice sound out of that lovely VQ. And if I wanted to get more serious there is a dyno shop near me that could eek out more power from those breather mods.

@MicVelo Glenlivet 18 is OK, I'm more of a Glenfarclas 15 guy when it comes to sherried scotch. Arran 14 is also delicious.
