Default Another Exhaust Question!!!

Alright here's the deal.

I thought that I had a Boral True Dual comming, now I can't ge ahold of the guy that was selling it!
Now I need to get another exhaust. I've been reading the posts so I know that Borla is not the only "True Dual" out there. I don't know that much about the others, except what I've read here & the other forums.

Here's what I'm looking for. Something that won't break my eardrums (roadie with the top down), yet make the most of the Headers & Hi-Flow Cats that I'm installing.

The true dual vs non true dual is largely marketing BS...all the catbacks make about the same power as one another across the board. Looks, cost and sound are the determining factor.

Find a different vendor. This site has a list of reputable vendors.

I plan on getting this I/H/E package soon

I assume he was talking used if the deal fell through.

only 3 dual exhaust as you know, borla, injen and stillen.

injen if anything would qualify as the "too loud" so I guess not that. stillen is pretty new, doubt youll find one used, its heavier than stock, and its very expensive.

I personally have an injen on the way, but truth be told, Im a closet ricer. not a decal and neon kinda guy, but I wanted a loud exhaust. borla just wouldnt cut it for me.

and thus... might want to consider a single, I dont know that the duals really give any extra performance over single, the biggest advantage is the sound factor IMO.

Ares is correct it was a used Borla deal that fell through. And on the subject of your being a closet ricer, I think there's a support group for that

Dave - I'm still playing around with it, I'll post up if/or when I make it work.

I like what I've read about the Stillen - Not too crazy about the price though, same kinda problem with the Nismo.

Looks like I'm off to the Classifeds once again.
