Question for all of you that know much more than my self. I am looking to pick up an exhaust system for my car but have to meet very stringent sound requirements. The auto-x club I run with enforces a 93 dB limit. As such, I am trying to strategically pick an exhaust system so that I don't have to pay a shop to weld in an additional muffler or resonator. I know in Japan when companies build exhaust systems they have to get JASMA certified. I found the following Greddy Comfort Sports GT Slash exhaust. My research tells me this exhaust should not exceed 91 dB (see below). Can anyone confirm or deny that this will indeed bolt directly up?
Looks similar to the SP Elite or one of their previously discontinued USDM models. I wonder if they just named it differently for the US market. Just speculating, you could always call or email Greddy for details.
