I have this combo...it is loud as F*CK!! Easy daily driving its not bad at all, and it doesnt drone on the highway. At WOT it screams, but sounds very mean, not ricey at all.

Your sig says you have strait pipes. Did you switch those out for the high flow cats? If not, that's cool, 'cause this means that the cats will be even quieter. Thanks.

I'm curious too, Injen exhaust with test pipes or highflow cats?

I cut down the rain forest to make clubs for baby seals and harpoons for whales, then I burn the rest down to roast the whale meat on. SCREW THE OZONE!!

a single volcano eruption puts out 100x the amount of harmful gasses than all manmade things combined. the whole save the ozone thing is a bunch of hippies ignoring facts to suit their cause.

Damn! How did we get from Injen to volcano eruption . Speaking of eruption, I think that's the best solo ever made by EVH .

Back to the topic, has anybody put high flow cats (Kinetix or RT) with stock exhaust? I really don't want it too loud . I'm keepin mine a sleeper.

I have been told by a few of my customers that the high flow cats add only a light increase in volume if any at all. Sounds slightly more aggressive, but only slightly.

Whats the Performance gains on the Injen? I've seen it claim 23HP and that's hard to believe. Does it have good extra HP and how does it sound compared to the Apexi Pro N1, Fujitsubo, or the Nismo?

Gains are better for the Injen when compared to the Nismo in the RPM range above 3k, and the Injen is 5 pounds lighter than the Nismo. I haven't seen the specs on the other exhausts. According to Sport Z magazine the peak HP and TQ for the Injen is 7.6HP, 5.1TQ for the Nismo the numbers are 6.3HP, 4.5 TQ

it sounds like crap

(IMO, as compared)

if your going to go with the injen, might as well go catless. i believe the 23/24 hp gain was with tunning and an intake, no? id go injen over apexi and fajitsubo or nismo over both.

Default Injen and Kinetix cats

I am actually planning to run this very setup. I have the cats ordered (should get them this week). I'll have to wait a while on the Injen though because I blew all my walking around money on the Cats and plenum. I'll post a soundclip of the Kinetix cats with the stock exhaust once I get them.
