Default Should I get a Y-pipe?

So I have a "catback" exhaust that is really just a 3" mid pipe and tailpipe. I'm considering getting a 3" Y-pipe for some sound differences. Do you guys think a bigger Y-pipe will make that big of a difference?

Doesn't hurt, some are better than others.

Do it bro! I went with the one that looks like HR style & like it, better flex joint placement.
