Default Trying to find an HKS CAI

I recently had problems with the K&N Typhoon Intake I bought 2000 miles ago with the oil coming off of the filter and covering up my MAF sensor (Looong story. . . but the result is that I don't want to go with an oil lubricated filter from this point on out)

Does anyone know where I can find an HKS CAI for a reasonable price? I was told they use DRY FILTERS, which is what I want.

Hope someone can help me out!

To save questioning on what happened to my car from the K&N Typhoon. . . I will be posting my write-up in about a day on a new thread. I want this thread to be dedicated to helping me find an HKS System for a good price :-)

Respectfully,
Chris

That's what I was thinking. I talked to HKS today and they said they will be having one released after they come back from the Auto Salon in the spring.

I can't find a Dry Filter system !

I believe this Blitz kit uses a dry filter:

Webiteks,
The Blitz is installed the same way as a JWT Popcharger. It uses the stock tube.

K&N Typhoon has one also.

I am considering a Blitz filter though. I want what will give me the most noticable difference (eventhough intakes dont make TOO much of a difference) - I'm trying to find one that will be the best out of the bunch.

I just decided today that I will go ahead and go back with an oil lubricated one if I have to.

With that in mind. . . . Now what does everyone suggest ?

I would stay away from Blitz metal filter...flows so well becuase it does avery poor filtering job.

I personally have the Gruppe M one on my car, which uses a K&N - works very nciely, though a very high price of admission

From there the JWT popcharger seems to be a good unit overall, K&N Typhoon is also nice
