R/T Cats and UR Pulley Review

I finally got both of these installed on my car today. About all I can say first off is that I am very impressed. Both are very high quality and well made products just by looking at them. Now I know what people meant by saying this about the cats especially. They are exceptionally well made. The same goes for the pulley too. Its almost too good looking to put down there hiding in the engine bay.
First off when I first drove the car I noticed a much different pitch in the exhaust which I was impressed with. It sounds great and adds a little meaner tone to it. I did not notice the the raspiness, nor the metal sound that some have explained. Conceyed was with me when I picked my car up and he was very impressed by the sound of it. Driving behind me he could tell a definate change for the better in exhaust sound.
With the UR pulleys I know its going to take a few days to get the max power out of them due to the ECU needing to learn this mod. I do notice the rpm's coming up faster now.
In all I did notice a definate difference in overall performance. I could feel a good difference in down low torque and it is pulling much harder now. I feel for the money these two mods are one of the best bangs for your buck and would recommend them to anyone.

I've got the UR pulley and Kinetix cats on the way. Glad to hear you liked the combo. The ECU has nothing to do with the crank pulley, and will not change over time to adapt to the pulley. The ECU compensates for air/fuel mixtures, and the pulley doesn't change this...

And yes I am still running stock exhaust. I am looking to get the kinetix cats next since it is such a good deal right now, or should I wait and pay the extra later and get exhaust next?

Oh my bad. I had just heard several times on this board that the ECU had something to do with it. Guess not.

Therefore, most people who get the crank pulley, tend to immediately drive their car aggressively afterwards to enjoy its benefits as well as testing the "gains". As a result, the ECU adapts to the aggressive driving/testing and the car becomes more lively. One should benefit from the pulley swap immediately.

having driven with these same mods for two days now, i can certainly feel the gains. it used to feel like the car would fall flat on its face after about 5K rpm (perhaps due to the exhaust restriction) but now it pulls to redline. as well, it is quicker off the line, and is now chirping my 275's.
i am a mod skeptic, but i will say that i am very happy with these mods as well. i have noticed the raspyness now, at around 4500 rpm, but it is pretty subtle. the sound at idle is excellent.

I would love to get the crank pulley but I'm worried it could cause some problems at very high RPM's (my redline is 7100 via the TS ECU) since the stock pulley has a dampener and the UR pulley does not. To me, the dampener is there for a reason even though no one has reported any problems with them. I know on race cars they install a heftier than stock dampener with aftermarket pulley's.
I have those two mods installed on my car as well. Before I installed the Plenum, the RT cats started making the dreaded civic fartcan noise at 3k rpms with the stock exhaust... but after i installed the plenum it deepened the sound out to sound pretty damned exotic.
