That aluminum piece is identical to the one I have on my Z32. JWT has been recycling this piece for years at the tune of $110~$120 a "pop". Must be why they've called it a POP CHARGER.

so are K&Ns as good, seems like many of them have less surface area (meaning, maybe less air flow??) that the other style. I happen to have one sitting in my garage that I used on my acura. it looks similar to this, maybe I should try it, I really can't lose.
