Going Back to Stock Airboxes From Z1 2.5 CAI - Retune Needed?
Hi - Last few car washes have caused water to gather around the filters of the Z1 CAI, so Im just going to throw the stock airboxes back on since the CAI likely isnt doing anything other than making noise.
Anyway, I have an HR that is UpRev tuned for shorty headers, HFCs, and Motordyne exhaust - and of course the CAI (2.5).
For those with more knowledge than me - do you think a retune is necessary to accommodate the stock airboxes? Im inclined to think Ill be fine since stockers are 2.5 as well. Anyone with tuning experience have any insight?
Of note, I have a couple of AutoX events coming up next weekend, so the car will be driven hard.
