Default Injen CAI with stock exhaust

hi!

i thinking about installing an injen CAI because the gains at the top of the rpm are very

but i have a question ... until now my lady is completly stock and i am not sure that there are the same gains as shown here (https://my350z.com/forum/vq35hr/4151...my-db-07z.html), if the exhaust is just stock ...

my thougts are that if you improve the level of air through an intake the end of the machine (exhaust) must be able to deliver that too ... and that wouldn't be with the stock one?!

what do you think about that?!

cai on the hr = bad.

but, it will show gains with or without an aftermarket exhaust.
with the exhaust, it will show more gains.

??? why will it be bad ??? every dyno i saw with the new injen CAI show gains at the top level of the rpms ... so why should it be bad ...

hmmm ... and you think there will be no problems because of the restrictive stock exhaust ... okay ...

Honestly. Get the intakes, Get a Fast Intentions Intimidator or a Motordyne exhaust, Get some HFC and then get a Tune. Your car will be VERY quick.

Yeah I think you will be fine too. As you can see on several cars that have had the Injen CAI install you gain HP and TQ on the top end. You may not feel it now, but the sound and look are amazing. My HR showed a heck of a gain... 13hp and 4tq, not bad for a start.

Its a great first step in modding the HR I think. Just look at the Dyno posted by hiz-n-herz

The green line is the Injen CAI.. very positive results. Just cant argue with that

Again, it may not be much now... But when you get the rest put on and a tune, your car will be alot faster
