come on man, are you joking? I looked at the link and could predict your post count was less than 50. Do some research, and you find people want some key things. Power, Sound, And quality. Do you think that is what ppl are looking for. We are car enthusiasts, we dont buy our mods from pep boys or autozone. With that muffler, some might "think" you have a performance exhaust. Come on man... You're killin me.

These mufflers fit universally on most cars... not what you want for specialized performance. Plus, you are only getting the muffler and not a bona fide catback exhaust which yields real performance gains (and not just a bunch of noise... or even performance losses ).

It's going to take more than a muffler to improve the power on these cars, and not just any muffler is going to sound good either. Odd's are that universal muffler will sound like garbage.

Now, like anything in this world, some system's are better than others. But sometime's comparitive information just doesn't exist, their are several system's on the market were I haven't seen any info, dyno's or pictures to know anything more than,.........well the sound clip sure is nice

Ok, so why can't I go out and create my own exhaust make power and do it for less. You can try, but it takes a lot of research, and a strict willingness to obey flow dynamics laws, waffle on one point, and you might as well pack it up and order the system that was engineered($$$) right to begin with. And honestly, doing a custom system correctly, is NOT cheap. My sedan system, discounting the high flow cats(which only cost me $300) cost me around $800 and that's with me doing all the design work, cutting and finishing in my garage, muffler shop just welded it together. So, making real power, over and above a decently designed oem system, is not easy and is not a simple muffler swap away.

cost me 500$ for a "custom" exhaust on my old truck. that included a Ypipe from the cats to 2 mufflers then to the tips. it wasnt a tuned exhaust by any means, and was more or less made to fit.

the cost of the mufflers however were only like 140$ of that price.

now that isnt such a good deal because the product is crappy. Now here's a good link guys http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEBWA%3AIT
That is the real deal, HKS. Those usually retail for $395+ship/tax. Thats only $300 shipped (tax in CA). I was going to buy 2 of these, however performancediscounts matched the price and is shipping me 2 of these for $600 (good deal from a trusted source).
