Default Need help ASAP, Concerning exhaust

Hi, ok i have been talking about exhaust systems and deciding what i was going to go with. I decided i liked the look & sound of the HKS carbon/ti mufflers, but wanted to stick with a dual exhaust. So im going to do a copy of the stillen piping (2.5" x pipe) hopefully to get good gains in the process of the nice sound and looks. Now i have come to the BIG PROBLEM. There is a box on the drivers side, i have been told it's the EMISSIONS BOX. It looks like it will get in the way of a muffler coming straight through there, can i get rid of it? What does this box do? Im going in to have my exhaust installed and everything tomorrow, so hopefully i can take care of this information tonight. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

Thank you,
Alex

BTW, im going to try to take pictures and document the exhaust creation/install.

remember, bigger pipes dont always equal more HP.

not familiar with that box, but all those canister mufflers always aim up, perhaps that would work?

Do you mean passenger side???? If it is , yes I had to remove the emissions box cover in order to install my exhaust. Had the exhaust on since December with no problems.. hope this helps.

WOW! nd2spd you rule man! thanks for the help, thats exactly the info i needed.

Yes i did mean driver's side. I guess there is also a way to relocate the box, but taking the cover off would be what i wanna do because thats easy (saves time and money).

Anymore tips/advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex
