Default Buying Popcharger, with or without heat shield?

Im gonna buy a popcharger.
JWT.
Should i spring for the heat shield?
Also, where is the best price for the popcharger?

It would be stupid not to get the heat shield IMO.

Look at it this way, the more air an engine gets, the more power that engine will make. COLD air makes more power because COLD air is more dense, therefore MORE air is getting inot the engine. HOT air is not as dense, and therefor LESS air would be getting into the engine. The heatshield will do its best to block out as much hot air as possible, so.. More power, or at least could save you from loosing some power.

Anyways, price is about the same everywhere. I got mine form Performance Nissan. Expect nothing but great service from them. Got my Pop charger in 2 days!

by the way, you don't pay extra for the shield...it is part of the package...

I didnt install the heat shield on mine simply bevcause my hood lets in and out a ton of air... if I put the heat shield on it would block air that comes in through the center scoop...

but.. any car without a vent there, i would recomend a heat shield because still standing air can be pulled in easier then fast moving turbulatnt air...
