Well, nitrous doesnt draw its gains from any type of pressure increase. There wont even be enough added pressure to compensate for the vacuum pressure the engine creates.

So then it would only possibly have a problem with the chemical properties of nitrous, but no worries there either as this material would have no problem being exposed to the nitrous or the additive they include with the nitrous so people don't "sniff" it.

I promised some pressure testing for the FI guys and we are still doing it, we simply had to wait for some fittings and such to do soem testing.

The only thing you have to worry about is a nitrous(lean) back fire. It will destroy it. That is the worry with any plastic or composite intake. If you plan your nitrous system properly and employ the right safe guards you will not have a problem. Other than that I wouldn't worry about it. I ordered one myself today and I would not be afraid to spray with it, although I would also take the proper safety measures. Good luck.
Thanks Mike

also you have to worry about freezing your intake manifold. its a big problem on neons when they spray, the nitrous is so cold that it freezes the plastic intake manifold which then cracks when its brittle

hey lsd do you have any info on this? i am considering buying a plenum very soon but will also be running a nitrous setup this summer. i like your plenum much more than the crawford but am concerned about it holding up under the stress of cold nitrous. do you know of anyone who has your plenum and is running nitrous? and would you honor your warranty on the plenum if it cracked due to the nitrous freezing it?

Alot of the LS1 guys run nitrous I've never heard of anyone freezing their intake and breaking it.
