Default hi flow cats

while installing the borla t/d exhaust i looked at the oem cats and the install looks hard to me one of the nuts are very hard to get to. the kinetix cats should arrive real soon was trying to wait and leave everything open to install the cats, but i dont know if i can do the install there's three bolts and nuts on the cats two seem fair but there's one that looks like it's not going to work me.
any one know a technic to avoid paying to get it done?

I ran across the same situation with my G35. I reached the two difficult bolts from the top side using two or three long extensions on my ratchet. I actually had to remove the intake tube to gain access to drivers side cat, but the passengers side was very easy. Some have removed the cats without doing this trick, but it only took a few extra minutes and seemed easier to me.

Once you get rid of the factory bolt & threaded flange setup, removal and installation of the cats is very easy to do from underneath the car.

was it worth the effort or do you wish you let the install cash go
to the installer?

It all comes down to how much you like working on your car. If you enjoy it, as I do, then I'd say do it yourself... it's not too difficult. If you hate getting dirty, then definitely have a shop do it.

G35C's come with fog lights above the HIDs - where our 350Z turn signals are...

I ordered my Kinetix package on 3/5 and it shipped last friday. The cats I'll install next weekend. The plenum, I want to get before and after dynos on, so that will happen the next time I can swing by Dyno-Comp. I am planning on dyno-ing with two different load conditions too, so I can simulate a dyno-jet type pull and one more like real world driving. I am very anxious to see these results.

As jng mentioned, the fogs on my G are in the headlight assembly, but they are actually beneath the headlights, not above them. You can see them in my avatar (top = HID headlights... bottom = PIAA Xtreme White bulbs... clearance = blue/white PIAA LEDs).
