Default crawford plenum (need some help crawford boys)

OK, thinking about getting Crawfords plenum for the Z. Now I have seen the vids of the tach ripping thru 4-6500 in 1st gear. Now the question is can you feel the pull on gears 2-4? I've heard nothing but great things about the plenum...no I think Im reday to try. BTW how is the install on those things...drew

You can drive my car if you want. But I have all the stuff on it

Install at the shop takes a half hour. Probably twice as long without air. I will do it for you after 4 pm, but I dont think Doug would charge install if you go in the middle of the day.

Do u have to send in your stock plenum for the crawford? I ask cuz im sure the plenum is covered under warranty and i like keepin my stock stuff when i can. And how much would it cost me if i didnt send my stock plenum, like i see it says 395 for theres which aint bad, but then it says core charge 200. Does that mean if u send your original its 195, or does it mean it costs 595 if u dont send the original. Thanx for the help.

I believe it costs $595 if you're planning to keep the original, and $395 if you send in your core. The $195 is for people with the previous plenum version who will send it in after receiving the upgraded V5.

My dealer replaced my tranny with full knowledge of the pleneum (and my Injen CAI). They said it was a non issue for them.
