Default Kinetix version 2 installed and tested..

I originally ordered the Kinetix plenum when it was released. I sent it back after I learned of the revisions, just to be safe. I received it back and installed it. No problems at all, no need for any sealant. This thing tightens down good enough!!! I had no leaks, no idle problems whatsoever.

The overall performance of the plenum is consisten to what I have read. Definately a nice pull in the upper RPM's. I LOVE the sound.

A day later, I had to make a drive from San Jose to LA. Did the trip non stop. The temps were in the low 80's the whole way. Thanks to the good ol' 405 traffic, I made it a bit over 5 hours to my destination. Upon arriving, I popped the hood open to see how the plenum was holding up. The thing wasn't hot at all and the plastic was as strong as it was before.

Thanks to all the posts on this plenum, it made everything easier. AND thanks to LSDunique for his awesome customer service!!

How long did it take for you to get your plenum after you ordered it? I placed my order a week ago on the 16th. The Kinetix website shows my order as still pending. I tried calling them but they don't pick up the phone. I tried to leave a message but I can't. Their answering system says that there voice mail is full. So far the only thing they have been efficient at is charging my credit card. Kinetix is located 32 miles from my work. I am going to be pissed if I have to drive down there just to find out my order status.

Want to see if this will better my 1\4 mile times. Best i ran so far is a 13.6 with aem intake and the jun flywheel on street tires at 102mph.

Mine has taken forever to get here. Should arrive today. I guess the production shut down plus all the people sending their originals back really caused a slow down. LSD was waiting on my cats too, but decided to ship them separate so I could get the plenum sooner. Can't wait for this weekend when I will be installing a whole bunch of stuff. Should be warm here too.

LSD is replacing all the returned V1 with V2, just got my V2 yesterday.. So I guess new orders should be, or maybe already shipped out..

I ordered mine the night it was put on his website. I think it was the 27th of February. So, it was one of the first orders. Sent it back the day after I received it.

Why did you send it back?

I guess I'll wait a week or two for them to catch up with all the orders....

Yep, I can't decide what I like better... the sound, or the performance!!!

Glad you like it!

I just got mine today. Took forever. I ordered the day they came out (2/22/2004) with a set of cats. Still don't know where my cats are at. Keep hearing that they will ship today.

At any rate, I got my plenum today and it is on. MAN, that thing is loud. Cruise on the highway with the radio off at 2800 rpms and you will hear it. It is louder than my Borla. Although, I must say that it does the job. My RPMs take off like a rocket above 4500rpm. Worthwhile? Yea, but I wish somethings were better. I will write a review after I take some video.

Yup, below about 3000rpm and it takes over your previous sound. I really like it though. Car seems to low speed cruise better too (4mph). Before, under 6mph was somewhat rough, now it putts about at 4mph w/o issue. Kinda unexpected coolness for our crappy traffic.
