What do you guy s think about this:

In the pic where the red is colored in i'm thinking of putting a pipe there. Almost a straight pipe.



People with corvettes have been doing this

I had a borla cat back on my '93 Z28 that was set up like that, I wondered the same thing with my Nismo exhaust but it's loud enough for me

wouldnt you just be bypassing your entire muffler? I dont understand...

probably lose HP. and it will be loud as hell. I started mine with the Y off. I wouldnt make it past a single cop without a ticket, and when he saw absolutely no exhaust on it, wouldnt be getting out of it.

N/A engines need backpressure.

not too much, not too little.

the peak hp may rise, but your low end power will drop pretty noticably.

if you want sound there are a few exhausts that give plenty of it.

no where near open but, enough to be very satisfied.

apexi and injen I think are the loudest, might be wrong about apexi. might be 5zigen... I donno, I get them all confused.

but if your into sound and power, go injen.
