New HKS Hi-Power Ti Exhaust (pics)
Here's is another slightly larger image.
I have a 3072x2048 original if someone wants to host it.
My focus is a little soft because i was still getting used to the camera.
It really is a massive exhaust. I have been meaning to post about it and the SC with pics but haven't had much time.
Fortunately, Gabe took the time and wrote up the detailed info.
I do think that the cost is pretty spendy, but I am sure there will be buyers.

this thing looks bad *** in person!!! and sounds pretty good! Though for the price they are asking, I rather spend a little bit more and stick with my full ti Amuse
a HKS rep did say that you can order a full Ti version of this from Japan for ~3k+ Not sure if this is true or not. He didn't have any other details on it.
btw, the entire exhaust is stainless. The tip are adjustable to extend or shorten with two bolts on the side (Accomodate for different style of rear bumpers). The only Ti piece on this exhaust is the tip.

Yanotkaj:
They may do headers in Japan from what I'm told but I was also told that jdm versions from other manufacturers have been reported to hit steering parts on US Z's so it maybe some time before we see an HKS header for US cars. I hope they do, I've seen some of the HKS Racing Headers and they are sweet. They have balance tubes connecting runners, high quality stainless and beautiful craftmanship (typical HKS style).
HK$FairladyZ:
The new HKS Exhaust weights 60 (all peices included). I've seen some others report the the stock exhaust weighs a bit over 70 (you can correct me if I'm wrong) so it sound like it's about 10lbs lighter than stock which is great news.
bwzabodyn: djspeks is correct
whatever: there is no special full TI version of any HKS system currently or in development, maybe the rep you talked to had crack for lunch or something according to my contact.
As far as the G coupe goes the desision to make a version has not been finalized, I think they are waiting to see how the Z version is received. I'm glad you guys like it because maybe that will enable me to buy one later LOL!
see ya.

There aren't 4 mufflers cans, there is one muffler and tip on each bank. Before the mufflers is a tuned cylindrical shaped resonator to reduce noise at a specific RPM range. It hangs off to the side of each muffler as you can see in the pictures. You can't see them when the system is installed on the car unless you duck your head underneath the back of the car.
