Crawford, Labree, Ultimate racing hi flo cats?
Hi guys.
I'm thinking of getting a hi flow cats.
So far i have heard the Kinetix have some fitting problem and RT have Raspy sound.
Does the Crawford, Labree, Ultimate racing hi flo cats, have these problem? Do they make any raspy? What kind of number does the Labree and Crawford give at wheels?
Thanks

I have the Labree cats and I'm very happy with them. The workmanship is excellend and so is the sound and fit.
I have not dyno'd mine since the cat install but I could definately feel a SOTP difference. Labree claims 8rwhp for these. I think those numbers are accurate, but you probably gain just as much from the other brands on the market. I think they all use Car Sound high flow cats, so the gains should be pretty similar.

I have the Crawfords. Great workmanship, fit, and sound. A little added power. I luv 'em. BTW, the Crawfords are not the Magnaflow/carsound units used by Kinetix, and I think Labree. I think the Crawfords flow a little better.

It sounds great, not to loud, but just right..
Power feels great, and very responsive now...Nismo exhaust is sweet...I just dont know if i should reset me ECU now?

I have the Ultimates - car was mildly louder after installing them and the Ultimate Y pipe onto my Apexi Hybrid Megaphone exhaust. No rasp at all, perfect fit and finish, and very affordable , not to mention a 5 year warranty

Wait. You dont have enough air flow going through. If you can hold off until yo get headers and cams. Then do it.

I notice Labree has the Nicest Looking Hi Flo Cat out of those three and the most expensive too.
But i notice in the picture. The inner side of the pipe that connect to the header is welded from 2 piece of metal. But i can see the welding left over inside the Pipe. Wouldn't that will effect the performance or the free flow?
Also does Labree have raspy sound?
I was thinking of Crawford, but any problem that people experience?
For The Ultimate Racing cats, Does the 5 year warranty cover international as well?

Just had Kinetix cats installed yesterday and I'm very happy with them. No problems on the fitment, except the driver side O2 wire didn't have much slack left after it was connected.
No raspy sound, no rattles, just a bit louder and it sounds more aggressive with my stock exhaust. There's more power, based on my butt-meter.
I don't know what the stock cats weigh, but the Kinetix cats are a lot lighter.

I have the Crawford Cats along with the Borla exhaust. The Crawford cats are very high quality. They don't make the car sound any louder than just the Borla exhaust. Also with the cats the car seems to rev faster.
