haha i know alot of people post about exhausts and what not but from everything ive heard on here it sounds like some exhausts will get you 2hp and some maybe 10hp? so what i have decided is i just want the best looking and sounding exhaust...5hp isnt gonna make a difference so i dont care. as of right now i have my eyes on the invidia catback because it seems like a good price and it looks nice and its made well...does anyone on here have the catback? how do you like it? what do most people think is the best sounding exhaust? i want sumthin pretty loud but no overly loud...like for example i think the nismo is very quiet. thanks for all the replys

 

if you just want looks and sound why not just replace the muffler section, im sure theres something out there that bolts up to the stock piping and its a lot cheaper

alot of the muffler only exhausts are the most expensive of them all cause their titanium or whatever.

by ignoring hp though you didnt really narrow your search down still gotta figure out how much sound you want and what appearance you want from it.
invidia makes a fine exhaust.

 

well one thing i would like in a aftermarket exhaust is seperate mufflers...kinda like how the older injen one was and how the invidia exhaust is? it isnt a huge deal but i just dont like the look of how the stock exhaust is or how the nismo is like one muffler with 2 tips? if that makes sense...but i do like the sound of the nismo as higher rpms but i would like sumthin a lil louder and lower rpms...like if im just cruisin between 2-3k rpms itd be nice if you could slightly tell that i had a aftermarket exhaust on. like with the nismo if your just daily driven not getting on it it doesnt sound like anything special really...but like i said i dont want it to sound like a z28 with no cats and annoying haha just sumthin more exotic and mean sounding at normal rpms. thanks for the replys so far

 

Well considering RSR used to own Invidia....and the Invidia, RSR, and Pro N1 Exhaust look exactly the same (except for minor differences). I am willing to bet that the Invidia with the silencers removed will be waaay too loud for your tastes.
