Any tips on how to install this damn thing. Spent couple of hours trying to install but was not successful. I unscrewed 2 bolts from the header side, 2 from the Y Pipe side and 4 from the support frame but wouldnt come off. I yanked every which way but it wouldnt come off.

I was able to screw off one end of the bolt but the long bolt wont budge.

Anyone have any suggestions ?

There is three nuts to remove on the header side. Then it should come off.

 

there is only 2 from the header side. I was not able to find the third bolt.

 

There is three nuts. They are shaped in a triangle. You can get two of the nuts from the bottom and the last you have to get from the top with extensions. I had to remove the air intake to get the driver side.

 

I just did the test pipes this past weekend, there are 3 bolts from the header side and 2 at the other end of the cats. you are probley going to have to buy some bolts, if yours didnt come with them. I put all new bolts on mine.

 

I checked out the car again and I do see that there are 3 from the header side and 2 from the y pipe side. Did the pipe just come off easy for you ? Did it come off when you unscrew the nut or did you had to yank the bolt out as well ?
