no tmuch of a performance increase but you can use the samefilter for a million miles by cleaning it...

if you want a gain out of an intake filter... go with a JWT pop charger

$120 plus shipping for the JWT and a 6RWHP Gain...

K&N Filter will run you $38.95

My theory is the K&N will perform as good or better than a pop charger on a track day or over long drives when the engine heats up. The factory cold air scoop is great. The factory intake arm is composite and will not collapse under hard acceleration (reason for replacing rubber intake arms on other cars). The composite material will not heat soak. The element size is comparatively large for a stock car. K&N flows better than paper filters and that is the only improvement I can think of. An oiled multicell foam filter would only perform better.
