Default Kinetix Resonated test pipes.

Whats up yall. Rethinking how I'm going to do my exhaust. I was going to get the Apexi N1, JIC Y-pipes and some Helix test pipes. That would have put me at total cost of around $1100-1200. Since Aepxi has decided to go full stainless and jump prices to 800 Im over what I want to spend. So now I'm thinking of going with the Injen SES straight tip and some test pipes but I think with the Helix test pipes its going to be too loud. I'm thinking of getting the Kinetix test pipes instead of the Helix ones. Anyone have the Kinetix resonated pipes on. I know the cats had some fitment issues but I was wondering if the test pipes were the same way. Also since I do plan on going F/I later....would this setup be ok for F/I or should I go with another exhaust. Thanks for your help.

hey bro,
any increase in releasing of exhaust gases will help your turbo increase hp. however remember with N/A cars you will have to balance the increase outflow of exhaust and the loss of backpressure on the motor.

Either way you will make the car look and sound better.

Personally take a look at the RSR or Tanabe or Espelir Exhaust it put you within your budget targets.

PM or email me if you have questions

Those are nice but for $60 more I get true duals....with those others I'd still need to buy a y -pipe wouldn't I?

Yeah, I want in on that GB but before I make that move, let me get that Plenum (through your last GB) in my hands. One thing at a time

I have the Kinetix resonator pipes and like the sound. I am running them with the Borla TD. There were some fitement issues on mine where the pipes attach to the cross support. The hole in the bracket on the pipes did not line up with the hole in the cross support. I just re- drilled the bracket.

I haven't got many miles on the pipes yet (waiting for my Volk wheels to come get here) but I am happy with the pipes so far.

I have the pipes with resonators and the Borla TD as well and I love the sound. I may try to make a sound clip tonight.
