I've had mine for about two months, but the car is driven every few days at the very most. It is a second car. I am just wondering, if I have to actually remove my rt cats and visually inspect them to deem them scrap, or can you tell if they are junked by just driving the car, I'm feeling a little lethargic and dont feel like taking them off to check them out. I would appreciate any comments and replies. The car seems to be running strong from the seat of the pants feel.

You'll know when something's wrong. Your car will start to run like crap but no dash lights will come on.

How would you compare your cats that you sell on your website to Random Cats?

Sorry to hear so many guys on here with this problem. But so far with my experience. I have not had any problems with Random Cats. All of my customers have been very happy with them.

I have had RT cats since I had my Greddy TT put on in Feb of this year. My car is an every day driver and I travel over 120 miles per day. I have had absolutely no problems with mine. I have recently upgraded to True Duel and we took a look at RT cats. They look great. I would hate to see this turn into some crazy free for all. Just my 2 bits.

i beat the crap out of my car if you all havent noticed...

26,000 miles... before i ran my car on a road course with them...

my car was running rich... (lean HA!) plus it did not help turning on my car cold and then taking customers on e-ticket rides while I was cold... basicly just poured fuel onto the cats im sure...

have any of you had any problems making warranty claims with them... you shouldnt...

My rt cats were bad from day one. The cat material was loose inside and made a rattling metal sound. Rt and Nissan Perforance told me that there was nothing wrong and that it was an installation problem. Took it a

Jeff- sorry for the delay- was down in LA at ZCON and just getting around to reading the boards. I honestly cannot comment on the cats we sell as I have never used them on my car. I decided to go with the RT cats as our cats were not available at the time. I can tell you that our cats are manufactured by a company who has a great reputation in the community. Just don't have any personal experience with them on my car. Sorry.

I actually wanted to start this thread to 1) get a count of those with failed RT cats and 2) see if there was any pattern in regards to dates. It seems that the failures are very hit and miss. I'm just wondering if there was a bad batch (or batches) of cats based on manufacture date.

gq- thanks for your input. I did intend this thread to be for those with failed cats. I know there are plenty of people running RT cats that don't have problems- but I'm trying to specifically gather info of those who have had problems.
