The Crawford strut bar does work with the ATI SC, no bar works with the Stillen that I know of and the Vortec bracket goes a little too high for the Crawford bar but some modifications would allow it to fit if desired (the stock one should work just fine). IMO a plenum is a critical piece for an FI car to acheive equal A/F to all cylinders. The stock strut bar is truly debatable as to whether it makes much of a difference. I would ditch the SB and put a plenum on an FI car every day of the week.

That's exactly what I did, ditched the stock stb, and gained the Crawford Plenum

I can't tell the difference with / without the stb... I don't track the car, so I figure it's not that important..

But referring to the topic, I did had problem with the two post studs stuck in the plenum, I had to use two nuts to tighten them, and turn the bottom nut to loose it.

It was PITA!

So how much is the Crawford Plenum, because i see it says 395 on their site with a core charge of 200.

If it sayd $395 it's $395.. Plus shipping, ect. You pay them the $200 on top of the $395 and you get the $200 back when you send them your stock plenum. That is my take on it anyways.

Man, I dont know what to do. I bought the kinetix because it was plastic and man that thing doesnt get nearlyl as hot as the stocker. Kinetix told me they have a version 4 coming that doesnt even have that bottom support. I'm stuck...I dont want to be stupid and deal with another crack again.

I'd go crawford no question. Neither one gains any more HP then the other, even with Kinetix pieice staying cooler.

The Crawford is basically an OEM part with a raised portion. Impossible for it to not fit well, impossible for it to crack or brake. Can't get much better then that IMO. You spend a little more, but you have quality that you will NEVER have to worry about again. Who knows how well the Kinetix plenum will last over longer periods of times ( few years )

Even some LS1, LS6 owners I have talked to have had problems with their plastic plenums worping over time. Apparently GM reconizes the problems and replaces them no problem ( LS1, LS6 has a plastic intake manifold )

Love them. Had problems with the Kinetix cats as well, switched to crawfords and never looked back. Great sound, good power.
