I am going to order one because this looks like the best one for the best price. I mean I know you should'nt go by others dyno numbers, but those look like some good increases if it is true. $395 is way worth it. They got my money for sure.

incorrect. This y-pipe is compatible with all Y-PIPE BACK exhausts, not true catback exhausts. Any true-dual exhaust replaces the y-pipe with two pipes, so this isn't needed.

I just want to know how they got so good of gains with it? Can they explain the numbers? Are they a one time thing, something that happens just once, or is this power reading going to be like this for every 350Z. I know every Z is different, but it should still stay near to what these readings are if they are right.

If these gains are true, you would'nt need the rest of the cat back system. I mean who cares about the rest when you get numbers like these. Maybe the cats and headers, but if I get this I will probably just get the Greddy SP2 to go on the back. Right now I have the Invidia G200 True Dual Catback system pre-ordered but do not know what to do. So many things to choose from these days. I mean I really like the APS True Dual Catback system too. What to do, I could just buy all of them.

I'm thinking this y-pipe or another y-pipe plus the SP2 for my G as well.

You'll still want to get a midpipe. IIRC the SP2 is ONLY the muffler. Mid-pipe not included.

He's right! Just heard back from UT and this pipe won't work with the Borla . Much thanks to Mike at Ulimited Tuning for taking the time to research this. Oh yeah, and they promptly refunded my money. Great customer service .

Hi Guys,

For those Z owners with TRUE DUAL exhaust, there is no need for the Y-Pipe since a True Dual Exhaust ELIMINATES the stock Y-Pipe, and connects straight to the Cats, hope this information helps.

Regards,
Unlimited Tuning.

I know you would need a mid-pipe, but who cares if it is making this much hp. Unlimited, are you sure about these numbers? Also, do you think going with a true dual rather then a system with a y-pipe would be better as wise as power gains?

Hello All,

We know there are a few people that have some doubts about the DYNO we did. The DYNO information is the minimum amount of HP from a stock Z to maximum of HP after the installation of the Y-Pipe. Therefore, the HP #'s are for your reference only, the amount of Torque and Air/Fuel Ration is also very important. Please note that the Air/Fuel Ratio has been improved noticeably after the Y-Pipe, therefore this amount of gain does fall into logical range according to the DYNO Shop. We try out best to enclose all the detailed information. And we have also decided to DYNO the Y-Pipe on a G35 also in which we will post the results ASAP. Thank you.

Regards,
Unlimited Tuning

the only verifiable third-party dynos i have seen show the nismo exhaust with no torque loss and about 6 HP gain at WOT. all the rest have a bit more HP at WOT, but noticable torque loss from the bottom of the curve. nothing i have seen comapares to the numbers for this y-pipe. however, these numbers were not provided from an impartial third-party, but from the guy who is selling the stuff.

it seems extremely obvious that if nobody can produce numbers near these with anything else, including a pipe that is pretty much the same... the numbers are inflated.

the bottom line is that currently the best exhaust for the amount of resulting actual performance vs cost ...is stock. if you want nice sound... ask for sound clips... and then just take your pick.

all that said... i will be buying the pipe.

How will this compare with Japtrix??

The rest of the system is the RS-R Exmag GT2 & Kinetix Race Pipes w/ resonators.

This Y-Pipe looks amazing!! Please post the HP/TQ Numbers ASAP!!

How does your ypipe compare to another ypipe gb going on AT THIS VERY MOMENT, but for only $349.95+shipping? The seller of that ypipe says his is IDENTICAL
to yours, and that your dyno numbers are greatly overstated, based on his considerable experience with dynos.
