New Plenum ( APS )
Not sure if this has been posted but its new to me. I did a search and did not find anything. Looks pretty nice.
Cast in light weight alloy and then precision machined, the APS plenum pumps-up the internal plenum volume and delivers the optimum distribution of air to each inlet trumpe

APS is guessing the price will be around $375 with no core exchange.

The Plenum will be a new Alloy casting and NC precision machined and will be sold on an outright basis (not exchange) air flow distribution will be much closer to optimum (cyl to cyl) and is suitable for N/A, supercharged and turbocharged Z engines.
Best estimate on the MSRP is approx $375 and we should have pics and info on the APS web site by mid September 04.

when you start talking about replaceing the runners of the lower manifold you start getting serious, increasing volume is all well and good, some are better than others but you really cant screw up... lower plenum you gotta start doing R&D if you want it to do N/A.
turbo, whatever, it doesnt matter, could strap an eggplant on there and itll perform. but to tune a lower plenum for N/A is alot of work; and easy to fail.

well i mean a more main stream one, how come crawford or kentix or aps just make a whole new intake manifold instead of just the upper one.

thanks ares, just the kinda informative answer i was looking for. Reason for my asking is because all them honda and 4 bangers have like skunk2, and all those brands making them a new intake manifold while we are just stuck on improving the upper part of the intake manifold. I though we should focus on the lower and upper.
The APS penlum is fabulous! I would buy that alone just for looks

I was told any questions regarding price and shipment should be directed to MRC out of New Jersey. Here is a link
