Default Kintrex Test pipes w/resonators vs. a non resonated test pipe hp gains same?

Ive almost finally decided to go with Kinetix due to thier resonators, but ive got one last concern. People have been posting about an 8rwhp gain from non resnonated test pipes. are these claims accurate?...2nd...with resonated test pipes how much less hp would be made? 1/2 hp? lol....i hope very little, or i will have some serious thinking to do. Please bear in mind i have Borla TD and Injen intake. ty

There will be very little differance between resonated and straight.

Maybe 0.5~2rwhp at most.

I wouldn't let it be a concern.

Make you decision based on what sound level you want.

Agreed. The only difference is sound. Kinetix and LBMS are the only two companies I know who have resonators for testpipes. Either would be a good buy and, if you care about sound, resonators definitely make a big difference.

I have Kinetix Test Pipes w/ Res and the Borla TD. The sound is just a LITTLE bit louder than the Borla TD itself. Absolutely no raspiness whatsoever, I love em.

Just gotta get used to the smell =P
