Tre', for future reference, where is Speed Force Racing?

 

at what rpms does it rattle at. Mine rattles going down from 3k to 2k rpms

 

its really independent of the RPM's, its when i a, driving on an uneven road it tends to rub.

 

If it rubs when decellerating then it's probably the passenger side cat slightly rubbing against on the heat shield. If it rubs while accelerating then it's the drivers side cat (that's the direction that the engine twists when applying more throttle).

 

Get on 8 going east, then take the 67 & exit Prospect Ave. Make a left on Prospect Ave and go down about 1/2 mile. They're on your left. 10149 Prospect Ave.

 

mine would rattle during deceleration (about 2500K) and it was the passenger side. but the driver side only had millimeters of clearance. because the cat+exhaust alignment was off, it caused my exhaust to rub the cross bar underneath. have had NO rattles since this fix was done.

 

I've got the kinetix cats and Nismo exhaust. Just installed the JIC Y Pipe and it sounds like my passenger side cat is touching when I accelerate going round a roundabout (right hand bend, I live in the UK) and give it some throttle. I dont have the brace connected on my cats. Sounds horrible.

 

You need to bang out your heat shield (about $100 labor) or go with the crawfords ($450).
