The K&N is really good. Performs well and I think it looks the best. For a picture check out this link.

the filter placement of the JWT and the K&N is the best IMHO...
If you insist on a CAI I prefer the filterplacement of the NISMO...

.
There is a new intake coming that comes with a stock filter replacement made of stainless steel (very hi-flow), and an upper intake pipe, polished, chromed, or anodized in several colors.
The stock airbox is very good and shields from the engine heat.
Intakes will get you very little in performance, mainly because of the stock airbox is designed so well.
If you notice, many of the japanese tuners are using the stock airbox and cutting a nostril into the bumper to creat a ram-air type setup. This is the best option if you are not concerned about a hole being in your bumper (with a nostril tube)

Toykilla, are you talking about the Frankencar Intake for the 350Z? I emailed Steve from Frankercar and he said that its going to be released soon. It is suppose to be making 5hp and 8lbs/ft of torque
