The stock factory setup is very good. Aftermarket units make more noise, but don't really improve performance. Things that do provide real performance improvements are a good aftermarket plenum and high flow cats. Headers will help some too, but not a lot. Adding an aftermarket cat back exhaust also mainly makes noise while providing little performance improvement over the stock setup.
