Default can test pipes be installed with hand tools?

exactly as the thread title says, can test pipes be installed with hand tools. i got my kinetix pipes yesterday and want to install them today. my friends dad was going to let me use his impact wrench but he ended up needing it tonight (because he's doing lots of work on the cars that are going to be in the new transporter movie). i can wait to get the impact wrench on the weekend, or i can install the pipes with hand tools tonight. will hand tools work or are the bolts going to be strong enough.

thanks

you'll be fine as long as you have a 2-3ft extension and a swivel socket.

You should be ok...but like he said, have a 2-3foot extension. Also, you really should try and get a friend to help you...makes it go WAY faster. (Trying to get the socket on some of the bolts is tricky...helps to have someone underneath the car to help guide them on when you're going thru the engine bay with the 3 foot extension. I did use and impact gun tho...again, just made things go faster....

Good luck and enjoy!

I did them by myself with no extension, the nuts were surprisingly easy to remove, the only pain was the drivers side upper nut as the steering column is in the way a bit.

Good Luck.

Yeah you should be ok, I installed my Crawford cats myself. Just be patient, and have just about every tool you own handy. I agree that some long extensions would help. I didn't have any so the install took about four hours. The longest time was figuring out the right tools and the cat sensor clips.
